First ingame hosting caused to be booted back to main menu, tried dedicated server from steam trough play function in steam and through the folder directory, got issues with connecting to the servers, tried firewall exceptions turning it off and on enabling and disabling upnp, portforwarding manually with steam ports and game ports (always worked with other games this way), changed dns to google forced dns flush etc. nothing seemed to work and after reverting all the changes and mixture of changes trying to fix this, after 10tries the dedicated server started to work a bit more and now Im at the point where the dedicated server is online as I can join it ingame but I get stuck at infinite loading screen and after a few seconds I start to hear the same music as the main menu has while remaining in the loading screen, Ive added the dedicated server log from the dedicated server directory
#Dedicated server hosting and ingame host dont work, infinite loading screen

Hey boss!
That's the all logs that you have?
Please share your (1) game logs, (2) saves, and (3) DxDiag — they are essential for diagnosing and fixing bugs.
(1) HOW TO FIND LOGS
Game logs are located here:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\R5\Saved\Logs
Server logs are located here:
R5\Builds\WindowsServer\R5\Saved\Logs
To get there, open Steam, find Windrose in your library, right-click it, then go to Manage → Browse local files. From there, archive the files in the Logs folder and share them with us.
Please name your logs in a way that describes the problem, for example: Crashedwhile_fighting_Dodo.log
(2) HOW TO FIND SAVES
Your saves are located here:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\R5\Saved\SaveProfiles
Please close the game before archiving your saves!
If you are playing on a dedicated server:
• Stop both the client and the dedicated server.
• Find and archive your server logs and world save.
Dedicated server logs are located here:
R5\Saved\Logs
Dedicated server saves are located here:
R5\Saved\SaveProfiles
To get there, open Steam, find Windrose Dedicated Server in your library, right-click it, then go to Manage → Browse local files (or go to the folder where your Windrose Dedicated Server is stored).
Please close the dedicated server before archiving your saves.
(3) Please also include your DxDiag report
This is your PC specifications in .txt format:
• Press Win + R.
• Type dxdiag and press Enter.
• When the tool opens, click Save All Information.
• Save the .txt file and attach it to your report.
If possible, please check for additional logs according to this instruction. Any additional info is appreciated

please dont say its isp connected, cant do anything about their choices
same issue i also have ziggo isp
Fixed it by turning off ipv6 on my pc, advanced adapter settings for w11
New issue, other players cant seem to connect
How it it going? Issue still persists?
Nope its all good now after we whitelisted the domain on the isp app
Glad to hear! Thanks for an update
Np I'm happy that we possibly given you some insight in some of the connection issue
@runic herald issue is back, booted up the server and got the same problem again, nothing changed and cant get it to work again
Please remind how you resolved it last time?
I whitelisted all the blocked domains from my isp trough an app from the isp and it worked vut only temporary since I see all that stuff is being blocked again
So the whitelisting doesnt help anymore
There is also no option to turn off the safety feature that blocks it
Well I guess calling them might help, so they stop doing that :(
No ideas what else can be done
Something triggers the their system and flags it as malicious
But yeah ill call them again
Alright so my isp cant do anything for it, we even turned all protection from my modem off and it still wouldnt connect and gave the same problem. It is highly likely that something is not as it should be with the programming on the game/server side
but it also maybe is windows 11s unstability since google apparently uses AI to update it and even made it with AI
Well, we didn't change anything on our side either from yesterday
but it was his wild guess
yeah I also thought maybe my isp had a security library update or something that caused it
I think the authentication servers flag my connection and the other peoples connection or the programming flags something with the isps that have this issue
I can only suggest trying cloudflare warp for now, as we're investigating potential solutions :(
https://one.one.one.one/ this thing
Install the free app that makes your phone’s Internet more fast, private, and reliable.
I can cofirm that the CF Wrap windows app solved the dedicated connection issue on my end. It'll do as a workaround for the time being
is that the dns thingy? 1.1.1.1 1.1.1.0?
I think it's an app you can download and use for routing traffic via cloudflare specifically
Ill try it, goodluck with the troubleshooting!
A lot of users reported it helped them and cloudflare seems like a trustworthy company
