#DLSS Frame Generation disabling and enabling itself when opening inventories/crafting tables

It looks like Frame Generation disables itself when you open a crafting window or inventory, resulting in it toggling off and on constantly as you open crafting tables/inventories. This results in frames dropping pretty heavily when exiting a crafting table as it has to re-enable itself every time. The same happens when alt-tabbing as well, but I believe this is pretty normal behaviour for alt-tabbing.

Steam overlay framerates in screenshots attached.

The DLSS FG is intentionally not hooked to UI elements because even Nvidia knows it garbles the UI (mainly HUD).
That is As Designed by Nvidia.

seeing this issue as well - when disabling FG in game, it works well.

I found a solution. Disable FG in the game and enable it for the NVIDIA app. "Smooth option - On" UPD: @Arc Okay, this isn't a solution, but my setup, which has been working fine for me for the last 2-3 hours. Maybe it will work for someone else too.

It's not a solution FYI. The in-game implementation does not affect the entire screen, intentionally. Whereas the driver override does (i.e. it also affects UI layer) and it no longer has motion vector data from the game either.

Yup happens to me too. enabling DLSS 4.5 in Nvidia App adds a lot of FPS and slightly mitigates it but introduces input lag.

Same for me, funny it works flawless when using FSR, but game feels different when I do, so I stick to this microstutters for now

yeah sucks im playing without it now because the stutters, but game truly shines with FRAMEGEN! And yes, activating Smooth Motion in Nvidia APP did help me getting a couple framerzzzz!
