Anything on the islands? What actually happens with that warning about needing to turn back?

there's nothing apart from resources that can already be obtained in the "normal" islands, and the warning to turn back can be avoided by going back to the main menu and logging back. The time before you die is 1 minute so you can do anything you want during that time. it resets every time you join so it's possible to travel as much as you want to
