A small outpost built on the out-of-bounds 4th island for exploration.

How does one get past the death wall?

Death wall basically works on a timer the moment you got the message, people say around 1 min or so.
So to be safe, every 30 seconds i exit to main menu, log back in, full throttle for 30 secs and repeat until i reach the island.

Once there, a tent & bell is needed.
Tent / Bed because you have to die & respawn on said island to explore freely (have to do it every time)
Bell because you need to be able to leave & return

Sidenote: your ship does not have said respawn-immunity, if you call it there it will sink on it's own pretty soon.

Even the small boat? From what I've seen it doesn't take damage

Small boat seems to be fine, i plan to take it to explore further after some safety tests

This is cool there is like 2 or 3 more closed lands on each direction. This tactic is great, but those lands are empty ?

There is indeed 2 other islands nearby, almost as large.
The islands itself doesn't seem to have any POI, or mobs (no crabs, no drowned) but there is a large amount of trees & coconuts, and a moderate amount of bananas & misty orchids.

Or does the timer go away, once you are on the island?

No, once you died & respawned on said island, the instant-death seemed to become inactive (until you return to playable zone / logged out)

The menacing music & message stays though, but bonfire can keep the music away
