okay so do you want me to just copy and paste all of the messages i get in the terminal and send it here? sorry i am pretty new to all this computer tinkering stuff.
ofc
please dont hack my computer with this info lmfao i do not know if it shows any sensitive information, i read through it but cannot understand what it means.
Ehm... It renders HTML tags somewhy. Can you execute same command, but without "| iex", because something feels wrong and copy contents, so it will show what is executed
Yep and copy contents
what do you mean by copy contents im sorry
It will respond with content of link, copy that here
it is showing my ip adress in the link i think lol. or A ip adress atleast, it sure looks like one.
I'm not sure that it is yours, but even if it is, just edit it out
before blocking.asp is what i think is my ip adress, might noit be thoough
Network-level problem, either your router or your ISP blocks Chris' domain. Go to github, download latest release of script, go to Downloads folder(or where ever you will save this file) in terminal and execute it locally with .\winutil.ps1
If it will drop out an error about ExecutionPolicy, just google how to change that
Actually, you can do it remotely by changing christitus.com/win for
https://github.com/ChrisTitusTech/winutil/releases/download/26.04.14/winutil.ps1
and it should still execute that
so i put https://github.com/ChrisTitusTech/winutil/releases/download/26.04.14/winutil.ps1 that in the terminal or what?
and then i put the normal one after that one?
That is documented issue of some network issues, so you just need this command for running script of github
so what do i do after i put this command in https://github.com/ChrisTitusTech/winutil/releases/download/26.04.14/winutil.ps1 | iex ?
forgot irm at start
oh okay, but what do i do after that?
It will start the tool
okay so its the same thing im trying to do but just a "fix" kind of?
