#Best to setup MicroWin (BootableUSB) in new laptop? Or OK to do it on another?

Hi! My laptop is Asus TUF A14 - FA401WV

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen™ AI 9 HX 370
  • GPU: RTX 4060

And just watched through the video by Chris Titus on "How to Setup Windows".

Currently, laptop has Windows 11 Home -> Plan to get Win 11 (Pro?) clean installed.

Question on approaches:
Is there a difference between the approaches below? Should I worry about drivers (with it using somewhat newer chips / setup?):

Status

  1. On new laptop - go through Win 11 Home setup , then run **WinUtil **-> **MicroWin **Setup (w/ "Include Driver from current system") -> Wipe and clean install Win 11.

Pro: Get to keep drivers (in case I get screen "bricked", see PS below)
Con: More combersome + need windows login? (or have to search for workaround to prevent account requirement during setup)

  1. Use old laptop to setup **MicroWin **on Ventoy Bootable USB, then perform a clean Win11 Install

Pro: Can do it immediately.
Con: No current driver setup?

What are your opinions / suggestions?

Thanks!

(PS: I've tried installing Dual-boot Ubuntu 22.04 LTS for a potential project, but it somewhat "bricked" the screen, despite kernel upgrades..., hence asking it here.)
