Sometimes when you're clicking enemies, as a ranged character, you may misclick and then start running up to them.
If you could hold shift to force yourself to remain stationary (and stop movement if you are moving) that could go along way to help control.

What gets me is, if you accidentally click on a enemy or loot, your character is DETERMINED AS FK to run over and smack that mob, or pick that loot.
Like holding wasd doesn't stop them

They sort of run in place, defiant to your wishes.
