Hey CR, Ardeos needs some mechanic change on his DoTs damage. I am referring to the damage lost when a target dies while it still have remaining dots duration. Can you do something about that ? Make it like Vigour Soulbrands or reduce cooldown when target dies while still have the dots. I still think Ardeos hasn't been fully balanced compare to other heroes. He still hasn't meet his fullest potential yet.

Potential fix:

  • Make DoTs jump on the nearest target for the remaining durations.
  • Make the DoTs explode for amount of damage that would have dealt to the targetjust like Ruptured Soul talent on Vigour
  • Reduce Cooldown on the ability when target dies while still having DoT on it.

Or something unique.
Like mobs that die with dots turn into a frog that jumps to nearby enemies for 1 jump per DoT.

I just want searing blaze to hit 2 or 3 targets adjacent to the target i hit it with.

I press this button like 10 times per dungeon in 35+, because it is so bad and i always have apocalypse anyways

But to your point @exotic fiber i think this is part of the skill cap to time your engulfings at least, so you do reapply it early enough, so you dont lose any value of it. Changing target before it gets to low etc

Otherwise dots on bosses would be worse, because they would need to balance dots around dying mobs
