Hi, could you please enable Easy Anti Cheat’s Wine/Linux compatibility mode?

This is outputted from Claude:

On the Easy Anti-Cheat side:
Epic Games (who owns EAC) actually built in official Linux/Wine/Proton support for developers. The developer just has to opt into it in the EAC developer portal. It’s literally a checkbox. When enabled, EAC runs in a compatibility-friendly mode that works through CrossOver and Proton on Linux/Mac.

That’s why some EAC games work and others don’t — it’s not a technical limitation, it’s whether the developer bothered to flip that switch.

What the developer has to do:
1. Log into the Epic/EAC developer dashboard
2. Enable the Linux/Wine compatibility option for their game
3. Rebuild and ship an update with that configuration active

That’s essentially it on the EAC side. No major code changes required.

On the CrossOver side:
Nothing — CrossOver handles it automatically once EAC is configured correctly by the dev.

Obviously if there’s a cybersecurity reason to not enable this then totally understand. But having [non-native] Mac support would still be great
