Given the preseason 2 situation around new players not being able to queue because the population was averaging 200 for a few weeks, this games accessibility needs to be reconsidered. Now with season 2, we are all spending a fraction of the time in lower tiers which will recreate the problem faster.
Recent steam reviews have mentioned this issue. “Don’t buy this game, it’s dead”… they aren’t lying. We have maybe two weeks of this accelerated progression before everyone gets their 10k mount and dips. The remaining people will be eternal pushers and any new person who picks up the game will run into the same issue that existed over the last month and a half.
They have already started selling 20$ skins in the shop so we are halfway there. Make the game free so more people will play it and sell us cosmetics and what nots to cover the cost. Id gladly buy a skin to support a company I like but I’m not going to go through months of a dead game again. I’ve tried recommending it to friends and they don’t want to buy it to try it… I can’t blame them.
Looking at the player base at launch and now is depressing. Even the last 24 hours is depressing… I’ve put a lot of time into this game and I worry it’s going to become a thing of the past at this rate.
