I would suggest making quickplays twice as hard but twice as rewarding.
Right now, you need to spam an insane amount of QP to get your boxes, and making the runs slower would feel very bad.
However, if they were to award twice as many resources, I think that would be fine, and it would achieve a couple of goals.
- Let you actually get the feel of your character. Right now, everything explodes in a second. I tried healers for the first time in QP, and I barely pressed any healing buttons.
- Make it feel less bad when you get a new tank in a party and they are actually pulling 1 pack at the time. When an experienced player is pulling half of the instance, and it's faster to leave and get to a new run instead of playing with a newbie tank. Making QP runs closer to the regular runs in terms of the pull size would go a long way to reduce pressure on fresh tanks in QP.
- Make the jump from QP to Contender smoother and not feel like you lost half of your stats.
- Make QP feel like actual content and not a chore.
