#Quickplays are way too easy

I would suggest making quickplays twice as hard but twice as rewarding.
Right now, you need to spam an insane amount of QP to get your boxes, and making the runs slower would feel very bad.
However, if they were to award twice as many resources, I think that would be fine, and it would achieve a couple of goals.

  1. Let you actually get the feel of your character. Right now, everything explodes in a second. I tried healers for the first time in QP, and I barely pressed any healing buttons.
  2. Make it feel less bad when you get a new tank in a party and they are actually pulling 1 pack at the time. When an experienced player is pulling half of the instance, and it's faster to leave and get to a new run instead of playing with a newbie tank. Making QP runs closer to the regular runs in terms of the pull size would go a long way to reduce pressure on fresh tanks in QP.
  3. Make the jump from QP to Contender smoother and not feel like you lost half of your stats.
  4. Make QP feel like actual content and not a chore.

QP are designed for new character to unlock basic abilities. It's fine the way it is. Honestly only flaw I find with it is it doesn't reward enough and it's a silly grind for no reason.

Quickplay definitely doesn't work for new players. The thing OP wants is Contender 1-3, which is actually pretty fun to mess around in

You need 0QP to unlock your abilities, and you are more than fine to go 0 gear 0 talents into contender. It is supposed to be the new player experience, where you would have a flock of experienced players running with them, helping and guiding them.

However, cause it is so easy, it turns into a speedfarm contest where, for newer players in the best case scenario, you can't understand anything, worst case scenario, you are getting flamed for being to slow..

I have been worried so long to bring my gf into WoW because of all the investment needed in order for her to try such a game just to end up getting flamed in dungeons. This game however lowered the barrier significantly for her to try and even though some people might think we are slow the dungeons are short and we don’t lose that much time tbh
