People will complain that you got WAs into the game lmao
I’ll test it out with Meiko buffs later if it works good

#

Might be bandaid until devs give is buff filtering

TibiaVision - WeakAuras for Fellowship!

only thing id want is to be able to track buffs but those move around on the bar, so mirroring a specific slot on the bar wouldnt work right

What I've done is use the extra action bars (they're initially disabled) and put CDs I want to track closer to where I want it, and shove the default action bars off to the edge of the screen.

Then moved buffs up so they're in my peripheral vision ... close enough to WAs for me without resorting to this

I think this looks like an awesome program in general, especially for a MMO like Lost Ark where you can't modify the UI at all. For Fellowship, the hud is customizable enough that I'm not sure you gain much value using an app like this to clone areas of the screen. The main deficiency in Fellowship's UI is the lack of options for tracking specific buffs in a fixed location, which this app unfortunately doesn't address.

Yeah tested out
Just a copy of a screen part
Which doesn’t resolve the buff issue
Ability bars you’ve got anyway to track cds if you want and they add a cd manager soon

It is only screen replication using mirrors and also audio prompts after set timers when hot keys are pressed so it has some great functionality even for fellowship

a lot less powerful than weakauras which is probably a good thing, but i have some friends who would probably love this so thank you for sharing

You should be telling people you are the author @past granite and this is self promotion

#

This post is an advertisement

past granite

It certainly is and ive never presented that otherwise. It's free to use and pretty useful on fellowship, hence why ive suggested it.

#

bet your fun at parties

Nowhere in your post do you state as such. You stand economic gain from your actions.

#

That's known as lying by omission

its freeeee to use. use it or not, up to you.

free* for 2 areas

past granite

u dont need more in fellowship

Another great option 🙂 requires set up each time though which is annoying

i don't have a problem with people advertising useful services and i am thankful that you've shared a free alternative. I could definitely imagine wanting more than two of these on my screen, as most characters have more than 2 cooldowns they generally want to cast as soon as they're up

marsh oracle

No problem with advertising, just with not disclosing. But you can tell the feelings of the author by their "fun at parties" comment.

I agree that its good practice to indicate that you developed software when you're recommending it to others, although i don't think people generally leave that stuff out maliciously. I see it a lot in indie development when people advertise their games in small communities and simply forget that its not a given that people know they are developing something (these games are generally free, even, so there's no clear financial motivation). Not sure if thats the case here, but hopefully benny will disclose their affiliation going forward and/or edit their OP to clarify that the program was designed by themselves (simply adding "I" in between "programme" and "designed" should do).

I'm not convinced this falls in opposition to the spirit of the rule considering this forum is for sharing content people have created that relate to fellowship and thus necessitates some degree of self-promotion. Its possible that the capacity for monetization changes things in the eyes of the mods, but that's their call to make i guess.

I think this is fair, as it is actually useful. However I also agree that it's important to disclose something you made.

past granite
#

Up to Fellowship I guess 🙂 either way, no bad intentions, just sharing a program I made and have found useful 🙂

#

i don't see this being useful as the only thing not trackable rn are buff and this program doesnt help for that since they move around but nice suggestion

Can you get banned because of this?

past granite
#

I very much doubt it, It uses windows DBM thumbnail api's and doesn't use any kind of injection or interaction with the game or it's files.

#

When are you going to edit your post to include that you made this and profit off it

past granite
#

Haven't had a single sale through this so I don't feel the need to lie. As stated many times. Free to use. 2 regions is perfect for anything it Can be useful for on fellowship. I will amend the post to state that it is my program.

Why not make it opensource?

Never has been and hasn't been an issue for thousands of tibia players who are using it.
