Tunarr Version 22.9
Windows 11 intel PC

Hello, I thought I might put this here for anyone else having the same issue as me. It seems that v22.9 does not steam all my channels correctly like v22.8 did. When I use v22.8 all my channels play fine, but when I switch to v22.9, certain channels will not play. I have quicksync enabled but I have not tried to play my channels with hardware acceleration disabled in v22.9. Intel QuickSync hardware acceleration seems to be working in v22.8 for me.

thanks, i'll take a look. at first glance these don't seem related to the changes in 22.9 at all

Thank you. I get these errors mostly on exo-player type players(Plex App, Tivimate). Including on v22.8 So far IPTV SmartersPro has been the best player for me. It has given me the least errors. Don't know if that helps or not. Still using 22.8 for now. Thanks again.

thanks - i sincerely don't think that 22.9 is the sources of the errors here, but i've hit other issues while trying to get a reproduction, so it's put me a bit behind in figuring things out

also, can you provide some details about your hw accel setup? intel gpu (or igpu), driver versions, ffmpeg version, etc

i have some changes i've been punting on to package a known-good version of ffmpeg with Tunarr to eliminate this variable

#

not sure it'll work, but worth a shot since i couldnt immediately reproduce on my end

Wooo!!! That was it. @tepid pond You're a genius.

The ffmpeg version was the key. No issues running v22.9 on any of my players.

It is a night and day difference in speed. Before it would take up to 25 seconds and multiple trys to get a channel to load correctly. Now it only takes a few seconds if that.

Mark this one closed. Thank you so much for all your help and hard work. I love Tunarr!!!!
