#Not Using GPU

I am using unraid for my server now. I have an Nvidia P2000 to help with transcoding, but the PC also has an iGPU but I want Tunarr to just focus on using the GPU.

I added "--runtime=nvidia" to the extra parameters, I believe that is correct.

I know for the visible devices we are supposed to use the GUID for the GPU. I believe that this is the correct GPUID I grabbed from the Nvidia plugin (see attached).

I am able to start the channel in Plex just fine, but I can see my CPU spike and when I check the GPU processes there is nothing happening. Is there a specific setting in the Tunarr GUI I also need to change?

Nevermind...... I'm just an idiot :/ I updated the FFMPEG settings to use the GPU and I can see it is using the GPU now.

Sorry for the waste of time. Thanks for being awesome ♥

Hey @buoyant bay have you found this to be stable when keeping a channel playing for multiple hours? I ran two channels with the same content, except 1 is using software encoding and the other is using my Intel iGPU (VAAPI option in ffmpeg, not QuickSync cause it doesn’t work) and I’ve found the software encoding channel to have far less random issues like not syncing audio sometimes or just randomly stopping playback

I do have an Nvidia 1060 GPU I could use on the server, but I usually use that for local AI stuff and wouldn’t want it to be used by both systems, but this might be a better usecase for the card and I’ll just move my AI workload to another machine.
