you can play simple champions near optimally in 50 games, but zed has so many ways to approach a fight and maybe the most creative plays possible with shadow

i think hes harder than most other assassins to execute at different stages of the game, he is alot safer and harder to punish in lane though if you know what youre doing. Unless youre just passionate about the champion, i wouldnt waste your time, he has a crazy high ban rate, people will play hard zed counters mid and still ban it.
That said, i think i learnt most about playing mid lane when i was a zed otp, not sure if it was because of Zed or just myself but some things about laning just clicked after 100+ games
