If you want to improve acknowledge your mistakes that caused the defeat. Figure out what you did incorrectly and find a solution. Once you do, next time it happens hopefully you learn from it. If you make that same mistake, hopefully you will have acknowledge and know that was your fault already.
You don't need to meta abuse. You don't need to one trick. Sure you can if you just want LP, but if you want to get better at the game, there's nothing else to really do. Resources like coaches and videos are there to just enhance the pace at which you improve, but you have to take it seriously.
I literally do not care what elo you are in, if you go back to watch your replay you will see and understand what you made mistakes. It's like looking at a photo of yourself from the past and only just then learning how terrible you look. Everyone is just like that, which is exactly why most people don't improve.
