Im kinda bad at adc but i wanna learn how to play caitlyn, does anyone have any tips?

i'm not a complete expert at cait cause i only recently started playing and she's only mastery 7, but what i found is a good strategy is to cut off mobility for the enemy by using w so they can only advance in a certain area, and chip at them with ur q bc they don't have another option but to get snared
box them in, basically

also, place a bunch of wards in the jungle area around you and your enemies, obviously to look out for ganks bc in my experience cait is especially susseptible to ganks. basically all my deaths are from jungler ganks im ngl 😭😭 maybe im just a bad player 💀😭

when trap lands always press q first, free guaranteed damage, do not auto first, that procs the trap and you'll likely miss q after
trap on convex angles, the game makes the player autopath around curves
you can misdirect q by using e or flash to the side, the q comes from where you used the ability
trap behind turret to hide traps; it's like a shaco box, people typically will forget it's there
when doing E W combo remember it is not instant like E Q, when the animation of the net starts is when you can trap. any earlier than this and the trap doesn't go off or it makes you place the trap later
if you're going to use q besides for poke, make sure it is GUARANTEED to land (enemy cc'ed etc.), you want to be doing max damage possible
