well sera mid is very strong imo. Especially if you have melee top and jungle and it scales likes crazy.
I would just play seraph, lux mid if i were you. It feels like mid lane on training wheels to me since you can constantly push out waves and find roam timers.
Focus on pushing at certain times. 3.30 is the classicly important one since you can help ur jungler on first scuttle. Dont push too hard from 2.25-2.45 incase youre getting lvl 3 ganked etc etc

its good alot of the times i think. Plus its very easy to pull off and youre rarely in a horrible matchup so youll play much more consistently than your average gold assassin player.
Also, you can try Asol. Quite similar playstyles but scales harder. Hes quite weak atm imo but it can work. Thats perfect i think for preseasons in normals since you learn how to manage waves and when to roam the hard way instead of climbing by just pushing waves and hitting a dead end later on

ahri mid is good a little hard at first but gets easy after a while
galio is a nightmare for mages
and irrelia is super moblie and realy hard
my friend plays ASol and he's chilling

for jungle
I play talon and evelynn cause they are FUN
