He doesn't need to compete against most toplane champs, between E and Q he can just sorta scale to late game

jax is good into champs like camille and wukong (fiora aswell but more of a skill matchup), he isnt as blindpickable as he once was but still good in quite some situations

Jax is always and strong. He scales extremely well. Jax is primarily a top laner due to his large requirement for gold and a desire for a extended trades.
Jax can be played jungle as well. I think post changes he will do better in jg. But as it stands jg provides a pretty free place for him to scale uncontested

Anyways this isn’t a thread about how good I do or don’t play swain. This is about what lane jax is, and he’s a toplaner. A damn good one if you have any idea what you’re doing.
