If you want a similar diver assassin, I'd suggest Zed. However, he's particularly squishy in comparison to Akali. Sylas is a similar champ as well with good engagement tools, but his lane phase is poop.

Ekko definitely, strong early game with a high potential of snowballing. Goes in and goes out just like Akali. On top of this, he is really easy to play, not much mechanics needed.
