|| I'm seriously pretty stumped this time (as if I'm not every time) but I'll guess something along the lines of the sun, light, or home/hearth ||

||i’m still stumped too! both these guesses are stretches, but it’s what i’ve got after a day spent puzzling:||

  • ||scope — as in telescope, e.g. an instrument to “measure stars”, and also as in the scope of all one can enact and achieve; the potential within humanity, and the breadth of all that we can accomplish — whether good or bad.||
  • ||man(nequin) — both representing humankind, as well as the physical facsimiles we create in our image.||

some stray observations: ||“from breath and bone” makes me think of eve’s creation from adam’s rib, while “a thinking wound” reminds me of athena’s birth from zeus’ skull. i really love the rich imagery at work in this week’s riddle; i wish i had a more confident gleaning of its meaning!||
