I want to cut the cubes in four pieces to assemble them to a great plate. When I cut them as I want them to have chess field, they came out as long sticks and when I cut them along the sticks, they came out as a chess field. The tooltip outside the cutter show it right, but when you open the cutter, it shows wrong.

I started a new game and did the tutorial.

I put the save game in the zip file.

I loaded the save and can confirm your bug report. I’m setting up another production to generate similar voxels for cutting and will report back if I can reproduce.

I didn’t reproduce the exact same production line, but I was able to confirm the bug reported by @haughty ferry
My approach was to create a voxel that required a similar cut, replicating their setup. Building a new production line also helped me check whether the issue was related to the stamper’s approach.

Reproduction Report

  • Setup: Created a new production line to generate a chessboard voxel.
  • Observation 1: First line did not reproduce the bug. Voxel size was 4x8x4.
  • Observation 2: Second line used a 4x4x4 voxel (matching the original report). Bug successfully reproduced.
  • Conclusion: The bug appears specific to 4x4x4 voxel checkers.

I’ve attached the save files I used for troubleshooting. Hopefully these will assist the Devs/QA
