Hi, I was getting a different result with the same seed with a very complex prompt/controlnet setup so I tested a very simple prompt with a fresh SwarmUI installation. I expected to get the same image twice, but something is causing randomness. Please help me figure out why am I getting 2 different images with the same seed. I didn't used to have this behavior.

Did you you do 2 images for each of these generations?

#

That would mean that the first ones should be the same but the second ones should both have different seeds.

No these are both from the same batch of 2 images.

Pretty sure if you do two in a batch only the first one will have your selected seed. Otherwise you would just get the same image two times.

Yes you're right. Different from what I expected but I can deal.

Ngl. the whole creating images in batches thing is outdated stuff as far as I know.

#

I think there was a time where that could lead to faster generations or something.

#

If you want to create two images back to back just press enter/click the gen button two times.

IDK my results are pretty inconsistent so I test random seeds with batches.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding but what's the difference to just setting the seed to random?

I do use random seed + image batches sometimes. just less clicks

the second image should have seed+1

if you copy it from metadata it should just be the right seed
