Re-release previous free skins for $$$ So I really want the Night Prowler Counterfeit but I just started playing about a week ago. I don't understand why these skins are locked forever when the event is over, if you are going to release them for free why not release them for money after the event?

They might in the future, we don’t know yet. Usually when something leaves though it isn’t returning for a while, no matter if free or paid

That's my issue. I get they do this to gain a consistent revenue and such but if they release these skins for free, why not put them in the shop for money after the free event? Why do they hate money?
The last shooter game I played that does this doesn't even update anymore and my oce server is already dead, how am I to convince friends to play? Nobody wants to play a game where they have no chance of getting things they missed out on.
Yes it rewards veteran players but it isolates new players and there are more new potential players then there are veteran players.

Why should people play this over Valorant where hey you missed the skin you want but you can log in daily and it might pop up and like I said they gave it away for free, might as well slap a dollar sign on it after the event.

Hmm...I'd be okay if they did release it, but unlocked through blue or orange coins. FP coins? I'm not a big fan, as they were released for free, and tying them to a cost after the fact feels awful.

Skins that are released for free. Keep that.
Once the event is over.
Release the skin for money so people who missed out on the event and can pick it up.
I'm not saying stop it and charge us, I'm saying once the event is over bring it back but for money.

I was thinking about the same thing. A free skin should be free when its released and people farm to get it. Its free and thats a reward. But after the event, it should be paid content for everyone else for a reduced price. The game has so many skins and there are barely anything in the shop. I would spend some money on some skins but they arent available.

Yes this is a good idea and a number of other games are starting to implement this as well. Honkai: Star Rail somewhat recently implemented a feature to obtain weapons that were only obtainable through a limited time event, now through a special store. I think Marvel Rivals is doing this as well now.
It's a win for everyone. If you participated in the event, you got it for free. If not, you can still obtain it, but through other grinding or with money (depending on the implementation).
