#Sevnero log review

Hey, I created a thread for you so people can help you with your log review. I have to hit the bed, but I'm sure someone will help you out shortly. :)
Just very quickly looked through before hopping off, and these are the 2 things I found:
-
He should sim his character to find out the best talent/legendary/covenant setups. Theotar is likely the best soulbind and if you play Venthyr, you should play Marked for Death instead of Vigor - especially with Obedience.
-
You said his opener looks correct, and unfortunately it is far from correct. It pretty much breaks all rules of opening as assassination:
- You should use 2 Mutilates during the Master Assassin window to maximize CP gain
- You should apply both bleeds, garrote and rupture, as soon as possible.
- You should only use Flagellation just before a finisher.
- You should not use Fan of Knives or Poisoned Knife ever in single target.
The first point:
You should ALWAYS open like this: Mutilate - Slice - Mutilate. This maximizes CP gain during the MA window.
Second point:
He applied rupture at 22 seconds, which is TERRIBLE. Delaying garrote/rupture application is one of the worst things you can do as assassination. Not getting the bleeds up means that you also get much less energy because most of our energy gain is from our bleeds. It's a massive mistake and should be corrected immediately.
The correct opener should be:
Mutilate - Slice - Mutilate - Garrote - Flag - Rupture - Vendetta - Shiv - Vanish - Mutilate - Envenom - MFD - Envenom
Third point:
Like I showed on the opener above, you should use Flagellation before applying your first rupture - which should be your FIRST PRIORITY after getting Slice and dice up. This rule applies everywhere, not just the opener. Always use Flag before a finisher.
4th point:
Just don't do this. Always use Mutilate in single target. There is no reason whatsoever to ever use anything else but Mutilate on single target especially on a boss that's stationary and doesn't run away.
This is what the correct opener looks like.
This is what his opener looks like
Drastically different as you can see.
Anyways I'm off to bed. I'm sure others will elaborate more later on. Good luck!

Also your friend should be in here getting the advice directly 🙂
