i will go over a single target fight, as that is where you can fix some of the issues in core gameplay/see mistakes easier
Sure thank you
he did pick venthyr, that is a little bit harder to play
but lets get into it, i am looking at holandrus as its basically a single target fight where not a lot is happening
in the opener he already did some mistakes.
#1 he didn't open with shadowstrike - snd but with shadow dance
-- i assume he was not in stealth pre pull
you usually would go strike-snd-dance
after that he also did not play flag correct, you basically want to use flag with a follow up finisher
and follow up with your symbols/cooldowns
so idealy:
after that he seemed to make a small mistake and used 2 times the same finisher
2nd symbols was slightly delayed for no reason
there was a missed global here
a lot of downtime in general, the fight should be 100% uptime on the boss
again lost gcds
2nd flag use is rly late in the fight, also wrong.
The sequence should be flag-finish-cooldowns
esp. no symbols follow up on that
either very lucky or he finished on low cp
flag played not entirely correct
I see, well i'm hoping that the downtime is just him not knowing the mechanics of the fight yet. Other than that i'll make sure he looks in to his rotation
What about his conduits and stuff, they don't seem to match the ones i saw on icyveins?
his main damage loss is just not knowing the fights
talents seem fine
there is nothing wrong with his gear, the main thing is just about learning the fights.
There are a lot of rotational mistakes but at least a big part of them won't make him peform extremely bad
it seems to me that he just is in a position where he not only need to learn the spec
but also the fights
and it is unavoidable to not be able to pay attention to both at the same time.
if he wants to improve by himself, just send him here. We have a welcoming community that does help him out
but i would also give him time to get used to both the fights and the rotation before judging
