i didn't look at your boss timings exactly but what i see repeatedly is delays during your cooldowns, inefficient dance usage, ignoring pv stacks and other small mistakes
it probably comes from not being familiar with the encounter, and it will get better with more practice
we hold dps in p1, and p2 due to not meeting dps check. I noticed that last night as well that i was ignoring pv inbetween dances more mental errors on my part there.
for this one, my thought process was might've/probably been that I built to max combo points, hit flag + symbols +dance than a finisher in this image. Is my thought process there incorrect in how i could've/should've gone about it? your image comment is a different there.
could you elaborate a bit more on inefficient dance usages comment?
you want to maximize your shadowstrike casts
if you start dance with evi, you lose shadowstrike casts
basically the reason we always start dancing with low combo points in single target
so in the image, flag-finish-dance instead would it have been ok to use symbols before flag than proceeded with flag-finish-dance instead as your comment mentions
also the reason we don't cast flag during dance, you basically reduce your cp generation and the amount of strong shadowstrike casts if you remove globals from dance with other abilities

i think the discussion about symbols use is a bit overblown
you can use symbols pmuch before flag or after flag and all of it is within .1% dps
the most consistent setup i found for the sim was flag-finish-symbols and has since established as the go-to
just confirming, in that scenario, you would've have naturally had max combopoints built for that finisher after that flag
probably in aniticaption taht these cds were coming up
you won't use flag without having enough cp
because you rly want to optimize your stack count
