It's just the only log I have to really look at. I have barely touched raid because of the socket issue, and this is the only logged key I have lol

a pattern is emerging
I'll go over some rules and concepts
so the first idea, sort of the corner stone, is that everything fits into symbols, and symbols is mostly on cooldown
you can obviously hold it at the end of a pack if it's gonna die in 3 seconds anyway, cause who cares, no need to cooldown that
generally speaking then, lets ignore that and say that you're just in aoe for a good while
symbols should be every 30 seconds then
and we build on that
flag with obedience, easily below a minute in aoe, however we hold it for the next symbols, which would be every minute (also true in single target)
so you get symbols + flag, then symbols, symbols + flag, then symbols
over and over
you'll notice, flag there is with symbols, every minute
tornado, also a minute long cd
gives CP, matches great
so in m+, you're gonna slap that on with flag
the combo then every minute is going to be flag->finish->tornado->symbols between the gcd->finish 4x
dance is a lot more liberal, especially in aoe
you just have a ton of charges
you should kind of always hold 1 charge minimum to make sure you have it for flag/symbols

but if you're at around halfway on that second charge, just send it

I think the main thing here is to get in the rhythm of flag and symbols every minute with every other symbols
and avoiding this kind of thing
where you're just wasting the symbols cast on backstabs and stuff

especially for syncing
cause you're just going into the next pack with half your cds
and you feel the need to use it
and it just spirals even more
No CDs feels awful
another decent flag, but still naked, no symbols, no tornado
like it's clear you got the basic logic down, you're casting symbols on cooldown and all that
just need to fit the rest of it into that
How long should I hold CDs to realign them?
Or is it just scuffed once they are misaligned
flag you hold forever, should never cast without symbols, same with tornado
there's not really any numbers on how bad it is to play bad
cause that's kind of a weird thing to try and math out

at worst, you're holding flag/nado for 30 seconds
which in a 25 minute dungeon, not killer
So holding for the entire 30 seconds is fine

symbols you can hold for about 10 second to line up with a flag
which only really happens in single target when you don't get 30 stacks
in aoe flag can get down to a minimum of 46 seconds
you just ignore that
and hold for the symbols every minute

So to summarize: always use flag>finisher>symbols
Hold a charge of Dance for that window, unless I am halfway through the second charge.
Pool CP before flag to get maximum out of finisher.
Only use tornado with that combo(flag> symbols>tornado>finisher)
And also in keys don't use my CDs when a pack is about to die, as well as hold CDs as long as needed to realign them
