beside the end of the fight where I know i messed up timings, what can I do to push out more DPS and get higher rankings?

1st tier playing rogue and would love to know what I can do to perform better and more consistently

its going to basically be just knowing when to pop dance to squeeze in as many casts or the most efficient casts for dps

there's sadly not much nuance to the spec anymore

all the optimizations are either neutral, a loss, or under 1%

just get used to fight timers, plan out your cds

you have the rotation down and understand to dance at high cp by that log

there's really not much else you can improve on

by dance timings, is it more of knowing when youll be able to get more dmg from dance/sec tec cause of more mobs being cleaved? or just knowing when to rotate dance?

and it should be macro -> 8sec left on blades -> dance 2 -> sectec, then hold dance/sectec? or do you send dance at other odd times

just based on padding on mobs really or whether you just wanna do more damage to boss or whatever target

as long as you're dancing with sectec (which you've been doing) you're fine for the most part

parsing as sub is mainly just padding, for example on mythic imperator (the boss log you linked) you might feel like you should "hold" for the adds

but realistically you can actually send dances off cd for the most part and have them for adds

you can choose to look at other logs for when they're dancing and what they're hitting in the dance to master your timing

but if you're looking for rotational optimization, there is nothing i can see in that log that could change for the better

you even know to delay cds after guidon

so ye just practice timings, maybe plan your dances out with NSRT or something if it helps
