Hm am I missing something on this Insurrection quest? The one where you get the fel-resistant withered, they're just dying when they try to succ the orb. Pretty sure they're supposed to live but it's doing massive damage to them

Alright yeah seems to just be bugged to do too much damage to the Withered for some reason. Since I'm DK I swapped to the healing tree on the weapon and popped the artifact ability. Did enough to keep them up through the damage to finish it.

The fel spike is what does the damage. When you unlock the last point in the tree your extra ability you can press a second time while the summoned demon is still active to deal big fel spike damage

On big aoe pulls you can just tap it twice because fel spike is like 99% of the damage

I had massively underperforming artifact abilities when using the auto-allocate to fill out the artifact powers (ctrl click or whatever it is). Stayed that way until I manually clicked in every point.

Fel burst needs the damage to be hitting everything, like your primary target will be doing big bursts, but if sub is more funnel maybe the burst isnt as effective on the additional targets which lowers its damage across all? Idk

It still doesn't but secondary stats don't go up infinitely like in mop so it's not too bad

I am sure it's behind other specs that have even stat value and actually like mastery but it's not by enough to matter esp in keys

I am also "behind" in remix terms so always thought my dps was lower because I started later and was just permanentely being carried, but I have seen people with way less gear just wreck my dps (again, outlaw has no burst which doesn't help)

Those are different. Only get them from clearing mythic without dying on each armor type.

You can buy the heroic sets from the Remix vendors. Or maybe LFR and Heroic? I forget exactly which set the vendors have. Normal one comes either from Odyn's quest in the raid or just drops from Helya. At least I had a normal set drop on one of my characters last night.

It's hard to compare to others with the differences in versatility, but it feels better than mop remix scaling for sure

Like abilities are consistently high on the damage meter. Like compared to mop where classes that actually like mastery got to do damage with their abilities

I'm at 240 vers now and I don't feel like I need to switch to assa or sub

#

One downside is raid bosses since they die so fast and we don't have burst. It's mostly fel spike damage anyways and the boss is going to die in 10 seconds regardless of the spec you pick

As someone who leveled to max and basically stopped playing any lemix until now, will I be able to get the sargerai commander sets relatively easily or will I basically be relying on a pity carry for the dungeon and mythic raid ones

Very easily but you will need carries, but a lot of people are happy to help

If you just make the groups for Mythic raids, then that's very easily done, nobody cares if you are dying constantly. Same for Deathless (just don't go downstairs from Odyn). For M+ I'm sure people will carry you to a +30, it's very doable. The other two are World Quests in heroic mode (You've gotta grind it) and I forget the final one

Got stuff I still need in remix but I don’t want to farm the bronze. And blizz did everything but increase bronze drops. Think my remix journey has come to an end 😂

With a single character, definitely more. You'd be hard locked by world quests refreshing. So not more in terms of single session effort. Maybe 1-2 hours a day MAX to clear the map
