I am fairly sure they are sending higher CP ks or not interrupting it because with 52 casts there were 20% extra hits on their side (in floodgate)

i was looking at priory where you had the same number of blade flurry hits, but different average damage per hit

In floodgate he just straight up had 10% more blade flurry hits

which is perhaps related to positioning
