Crimston tempest is a AoE bleed, that does a FUCKTON of damage for the amount of resources you use on it,
What this means is, you maintain it, you dont spam it

You need to be maintaining spatter on your current target by mutilating it when it has a rupture on

Then all your poison dmg spreads

You never want to be hitting a target without spatter running

Your general opener in AoE is as follows:
Ambush from stealth (applies your hero talent mark)
Garrote x2
Rupture x2 (you can do both garrote on the same target, to cleave them, because the talent indiscriminate carnage has smart targeting)
1 or 2 more Garrotes if there are targets without it
Crimson Tempest
Fan of Knives
Mutilate on the target you want to spatter on
Envenom
Deathmark
Kingsbane
Fan to build and spam envenom

The general idea is that you want to get up your bleeds that generate energy (Garrote and Rupture)
Your bleed for damage (CT)
and then pick a target which you pump envenoms into to spatter from

so you need to mutilate that target every 10 seconds to keep the spatter debuff on it

Okay, theres another build that would be better

because the issue is, I dont think the targets live long enough for you to get a good spatter sequence

This build has more focus on the bleed damage, it doesnt really change your playstyle in any way, but it focuses your damage into the bleeds more

so by doing it twice on 1 target, you get out 5 ruptures

Spatter has 2 bits

A. Make sure you have rupture on the target

B. Make sure you ambush/mutilate the target once every ten seconds

And then you’re spattering

Might be worth installing one of the weakaura packs, makes tracking if you have spatter up easier
