@ancient spindle so the basics here look okay, but you gotta be using carnage way more than what you're doing rn. I'm attached a lot of screenshots from that +6 where you open from stealth and then just simply do not spread more than 1 gar and 1 rup

and if you're gonna garrote more stuff anyway, just do that instead of a fan of knives

oddly enough when you do get to a boss like the third boss, you spam garrote from stealth, which doesn't really make sense in that situation

since you're just overriding the same garrote over and over

you then also promptly clip the empowered garrote with a regular one

and I'm assuming the crimson tempest also is just a misclick, but just to make sure, you're supposed to use fan of knives and crimson tempest on 2 or more targets

you can also fan of knives in single target with clear the witnesses, that's a slight gain

#

in general it just kinda seems like you know the basics but then have a lot of downtime and random hiccups

just needs more practice, an on-use trinket (burst class so having something like a skardyns really important), and probably a bit higher keys so you can plan your cds better

like yeah you're doing tank damage on the first boss

but it's a 1 min fight and you just straight up didn't have deathmark

so yeh, burst class with no cds

I didn’t double garrot and rupture because we pulled small a lot like 3 mobs or so, so do I still double garrot and rupture even on 3 targets if the bleed is applied to all targets after one cast?

no, on 3 targets you can do a single gar and rup cause that would bleed everything

but I checked numerous pulls that had 6,7, sometimes up to 12 mobs

Ok will work on that I have been moving my key binds around to get them where I want them so hitting the wrong button a fair bit because of that. Also I thought crimson tempest was still a gain on ST because the extra bleed but maybe the video i watched was a bit old. But the third boss was some accidental garrots. But on the last boss I vanished and ruptured to hit the webs and critters so when they died I got full energy back because I feel horribly energy starved in ST, but I didn’t actually know if it was worth doing or not.
I also was wondering if energy starved is normal on ST or should I be pooling more before or if I am doing something wrong.

CT single target was a gain in like october but a bug fix took care of that, only worth on 2 or more

that's the downside of assa for having such insane aoe potential

vanishing to rupture the webs is probably not worth it

#

"rupture sniping" as its often called is only worth it if the target is going to survive roughly 8 or more seconds

#

just slamming a rupture into something that dies instantly is a waste because you spent all that energy generating combo points and using the rupture only for it to then essentially give you back the energy you just spent

#

if the target isn't surviving long enough to take a couple ticks of damage and give you venomous wounds energy from that, you're basically just wasting time using energy to get the same energy back and doing nothing with it
