Hello
And your cooldowns are all over the place
Vanish/shiv are just not where they need to be, improved garrote is not being utilized
Tons of combo points waste too
I’m on mobile though so only quick glance from me
Quake’s got you
Yeah idk if this is more than an understanding angle
I mean I’m on mobile too
Not using CDs appropriately
A lot of cp waste
Leads to low garrote and envenom uptime
Which leads to less dam
Shivs aren’t done correctly either
Thank you all for opening a thread fo rit
and having a look at it
Despite the sound of it
The goal is to improve the homies when they ask for help
Just a lot to work on here.
Primary bits:
Good im learning so feedback is awesome
and I used to play Frost DK only
so it's quite a change for me
I hae to quikly run to the grocery store so I brb
if I respond late
- finisher rule, we finish on 5 + unless darkest night is up, then you finish on max cp.
- shiv before kb (you’re doing that already, great job!) and then with 8s left on kb.
- we want to vanish with 6s left on KB to maximize our crit chance on fat hits.
- maintain garrote for max bleed time
- you’re also fan of knives’ing a lot in this fight, you only do this on single target with a clear the witnesses proc.
- also we want to clear our darkest night buff as a top priority, noticed you didn’t do that on a couple
All good - it’s a thread just post when you can king
I hope this helps, and anything beyond lmk glad to help
Thank you for the list. About the first one good to know I will track my dark night. Would you say that the other hero talent is easier?
Oh I should so shiv twice to maximize KB
At the end of Kb
Shiv before
And then once that shiv runs out shiv again
That’s it
And yeah it’s worth tracking
It is and isn’t easier
One of the things I noticed with the other rogue for example is that I casted around the same number of Envenoms but he did more damage per hit
Vanish logic gets a little funky with fishing
But outside of that
No playing around darkest night
So it’s 50/50 in terms of what is easier I guess
Ah okay
If you mutilate at 6, that means you wasted one combo point of mutilate
Aha
This is showing that you missed 36 avoidable (don’t play around seal fate sometimes that just happens)
And that’s like
7 more envenom
Yeah exactly
So that could potentially explain the big damage gap with envenoms
Which hero talent do you prefer?
Good to know
I would like to that I don’t have to check darkest night procs
However I’m unsure how much complexity fatebound would bring
Do you have to time your cds when you have enough flips?
No
Not really you just send as is
U just send everything
The only vanish bit is if you have 5 flips you try to fish for a 7 flip with vanish.
Recently learned in review that’s the logic for it
Mm I might have to try fatebound
Lots to learn, I’m not the most hardcore/good player. But I like to learn classes. So each season I just try something completely different
Fair enough
Don’t have the time sadly to play multiple classes usually
I have tried for a couple of weeks by reading guides watching tutorials etc
So this will definitely help I think
Since I got a bit stuck

I also really like subtlety, but I’m even worse on that
So yeah going to stick with assassin for now🤣
two questions, and than I won’t waste your time anymore. For Fb Does this mean I should hold vanish?
And secondly when would it be the best to use the extra critical damage cooldown (the one with the skull, forgot the name)
No you still send as directed
Only time you veer
Is if you have 5 flips in a row, send it early to get a fateful ending bit
Cold blood
Just macro with kingsbane
Just as a lil thing, all roads lead to Rome, just vanish cb2
Double flippa

Regardless of 5 or not tbh just flip
real
I’m going to try fatebound, a proc less to worry about sounds nice for me
I play fatebound on mythic kyveza prog currently so it’s totally fine
It’s uh…. Not great…. In aoe
But if you’re messing up the mark in aoe then like you’re already down a couple % so fuck it or whatever
Actually in M+ Im doing quite decent/better than single target. I blame all the delves that I did that made me memorize the rotation better
The issue I also run in with ST fights is that at some point my energy is gone
I have no idea how I can keep me dps up at those moments. In M+ I usually don’t have energy issues
I might try fatebound in aoe though. How much worse is it?
You just chill out also talent change helps
