You never want to use slice and dice during dance, and especially not during your CDs. Use it after your shadow strike
Second, you don't want to be hitting backstab during dance in general anymore.

No. You don't care about your danse macabre stacks ever. Just use it as your second finisher in dance if playing deathstalker.

No point in using an ability that does like 15k damage to buff your sectec by like 50k, when you can hit a shadowstrike that does like 80k
(Numbers aren't to scale to TWW numbers, but the point is it's a waste of damage and GCDs during dance)

I see that makes sense so no need to consider dance macabre during dance, so just build spend with Shadow strike and evis.

in general, would suggest looking at the guides more. Seeing things like this probably means not understanding the fundamentals of dust (though it's gonna be gone in a couple of months) and how dances should be used in DS:
After your first dance ended in CDs, you want to vanish ASAP. Delayed it a couple of seconds though. You should be using dance and symbols together or at least have dance be covered by your symbols.
And you never want to vanish twice like that in the same CD.

Fuu's guide covers vanish usage as well. Can see there where you just use it for the first one because of SoD being used at 10 seconds, followed by ~25 second cadences, until he uses his Flag/Blades again and uses another Vanish.
