Beta Tuning July 24th
Wowhead
-# - Hand of Fate’s “Heads” effect now grants 10% increased damage on its first flip (was 3%).
-# - Nimble Flurry now increases Blade Flurry damage by 20% while active (was 15%).
-# - All ability damage increased by 10%.
-# - Auto-attack damage increased by 10%.
-# - Sinister Strike damage increased by 10%.
-# - Pistol Shot damage increased by 10%.
-# - Blade Flurry initial damage increased by 50%.
-# - Sleight of Hand additional chance for Roll the Bones to grant multiple effects increased to 15% (was 10%).
-# - Count the Odds chance to grant a Roll the Bones effect increased to 15% (was 10%).
Note these are for beta and not prepatch.
Should be about +13-15% dps for
HO and +16-18% for
KIR.
Count the Odds change is pretty strong -- you get 50% more CTO procs. It also thins our dps variance a good ways for both builds. Great change and fun.
I don't think these are enough for KIR to necessarily come back into the spotlight but it should feel better to play.
Sleight of Hand buff is useless because Loaded Dice is active so often and nullifies the effect.
Fatebound compared to
** Trickster** does not really change in AoE, though it pulls ahead in single target even more than it already was.
In other news, it is not possible to play Trickster without
Coup de Grace talented anymore.
There also seems to be a bug (on beta) where
Subterfuge granted by breaking
Stealth does not allow you to Ambush anymore. Subterfuge from Vanish works though.

Wowhead
-# - Fatebound Coin (Heads) additional stacks now increase damage by 2% per stack (was 1%).
-# - Fatebound Coin (Tails) damage increased by 50%.
-# - Lucky Coin damage increased by 70%.
-# - Delivered Doom now increases Fatebound Coin (Tails) damage by 30% when striking a single target (was 21%).
-# - Fate Intertwined now duplicates 30% of Envenom critical strike damage to 2 nearby enemies (was 20%).
-# - Unseen Blade damage increased by 78%.
-# - All ability damage increased by 10%.
-# - Auto-attack damage increased by 10%.
-# - Killing Spree damage increased by 8%.
-# - Combat Potency now increases Energy regeneration by 30% (was 25%).
-# - Ace Up Your Sleeve now grants 5 combo points when triggered (was 4). This change does not affect PvP combat.
These are about a 16-20% dps increase, especially for
Fatebound and
KIR.
Fatebound buffs are insane -- it is now tuned decently ahead of
Trickster. Trickster was already hard to recommend, guess we are coin flippers for the near future.
Ace nerf was reverted -- the people have spoken. This seemingly small change puts a bit of fun back in Outlaw with more repeated chain procs, and is the extra push to put
KIR builds back on the menu after last week's changes.
Combat Potency buff is fairly minimal, like a 2% increase to overall energy, though it is agnostic from
Adrenaline Rush so I guess we'll take it, it should help cushion our low points of RNG.
Killing Spree buff is perhaps unusual, as it hurts players that choose not to use KS because of its risk or insane camera movement. However
KIR builds still don't use KS (unless Trickster).
