Okay first boss

#

your talents are unusual

#

it's the pure single target build

#

any cleave fight i would at least use acrobatic strikes, dancing steel, and precise cuts

buoyant flicker
#

yeah like i did on council

nocturne vale
#

one thing i keep seeing is roll the bones expiring completely

#

this causes tier set to not activate on the next roll

#

should never let it fully expire

#

clip it at 1 second remaining or whatever

buoyant flicker
#

oh okay

#

yeah il make sure to fix that

nocturne vale
#

this feels like melee uptime problems rather than butchering the rotation itself

buoyant flicker
#

like not meleeing the boss?

nocturne vale
#

yes

#

not maximizing uptime while dealing with mechanics

#

and gaps between globals

buoyant flicker
#

yeah that is definitely ju8st me not being used to how to play a melee while dealing with mechanics

nocturne vale
#

outlaw is 0.8s gcd

#

which is

#

blisteringly fast

buoyant flicker
#

yeah yeah

#

that ive noticed

nocturne vale
#

pretty much you start strong but some things are snowballing into being unable to maintain adrenaline rush

buoyant flicker
#

ah alright, hows my gear overall? i assume its not great either for my ilvl?

nocturne vale
#

it's fine

#

well this trinket does literally nothing

#

it doesnt proc

buoyant flicker
#

oh, it simmed better than other choices for me

nocturne vale
#

simc is parsing that the poisons are supposed to proc it, which is usually true for "ranged spells do x" trinkets

#

but for some reason it doesnt actually work in game

#

in a perfect world >2000 haste is a bit much but can't really help that with new season gear

buoyant flicker
#

yeah this char is completely new aswell

#

i started it in s4

#

so dont have alot of options

#

well late s3

nocturne vale
#

also in logs there is no way to track the cooldown on vanish and such

#

so cant see if you are like micro-delaying important priorities like stealth cds, ghostly strike, deft maneuvers blade flurry

buoyant flicker
#

so just get used to the spec more and be able to autopilot my abilities to keep uptimes better

#

im still gigagreylogging and it worries me abit lmao

#

this is a wipe on terros

#

but is this better?

nocturne vale
#

yes

#

ADR uptime is high

#

BtE is considerably ahead of dispatch

#

usually good signs

#

of a successful rotation

#

RTB did not fall off

#

use your mirror trinket first

#

instead of bandolier

#

big vers buff for opening stealth windows

#

pressing trinket is still making you lose a stealth global

#

and here is 1.5 seconds delay, nearly a global missed

#

stealth globals are precious

#

you have 0.4s leeway to fit 8 globals inside subterfuge/dance

buoyant flicker
#

yeah theres a bit of stuff like that

#

just so much to keep track off

nocturne vale
#

one moment where vanish was used with BtE on cooldown

#

happens

#

but it is punishing

#

do you have ghostly strike macro'd into ambush? i would put it on BtE as well

#

so when you are chain spamming BtE with ace procs, you are still weaving ghostly strike between them

nocturne vale
buoyant flicker
#

i have no macros whatsoever atm

#

so just #showtooltip
/cast ambush
/cast Ghostly Strike?

#

with bte aswell

nocturne vale
#

you would need it on /cast sinister strike when outside of stealth

#

and /cast ambush on your stealth bar

#

and for between the eyes, put ghostly strike first

buoyant flicker
#

could you share that macro with me if poss? abit unsure

nocturne vale
#

/cast ghostly strike
/cast sinister strike

/cast ghostly strike
/cast ambush

/cast ghostly strike
/cast between the eyes

buoyant flicker
#

thank you!

nocturne vale
#

probably

#

ty

buoyant flicker
#

is there a macro for sinister strike to turn into Ambush in terms of audacity talent? so that i dont have to have a different ambush on my bars

buoyant flicker
#

I dont think it does?
