https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/TWh4ykB7qdQVZb26#view=rankings&boss=-2&difficulty=0&wipes=2 My damage seems really low and i am not sure the reason why really. i only started playing rogue again 4 weeks ago so still bit learning it as i didn't play since S4 shadowlands outside a couple weeks in S1 DF
since this is a sub log review, I assume you are quirktrick. I am looking at the rashok log
you are not doing the dance rotation correctly. the dance rotation is scripted and essentially the same every time, so follow the order
currently you are pressing sectech as your first finisher in dance
the dance rotation is gb-evi-strike-sectech-strike-evi, with sectech as the second finisher
you also did this
pressing strike first after dance is wasting cp because you have cp from TFD + strike + premed, which overcaps you
this is why you gb first in dance and use strike second builder, so you don't waste premed cp
you can fix it by just following dance sequence correctly
since dance is most of your damage, doing it wrong every time will cause your damage to drop a lot
there is also this dance, I don't know what happened here
shouldn't rupture or beacon during dance
again
this sectech isn't in the dance
here there is a wasted global because you used your premed strike, then gb even though you were already at 6 cp and could have used a finisher
not sure what happened here since CB got detached from sectech (i assume you have it in a macro?)
and you also used your premed strike with a gb again, which wastes cp
not sure what happened here, why there is no builder
So TLDR, use the 6 gcd dance sequence. It's the same every time, and doing it inconsistently is a big hit to your damage because dance is the most important part of the rotation
there are some other optimizations you can do, but it's more important to get this dance sequence down first
