It would help a lot to look through the #subtlety-faq and/or wowhead guide
some major improvements would be to improve your dances, e.g stop casting shuriken storm on single target unless it's at the very beginning instead of your first gloomblade to guarantee find weakness
stop wasting the first dance CP by casting ss right after dance
use tea with dance in opener
delay symbols for 3 seconds after casting dance with tier 30 2p
follow !symbols and !tea rules(type the commands in sub channel)
you're also using gear that's very clearly optimized for m+, with storm annulet, mastery stacking etc

I see, tbh never really noticed that since it was one of the first talents I picked up didn't look too much into it.
The other points I can start doing to hopefully improve thank you @radiant sail.
Is there anything I can change in my gear that would be better for raiding? I thought they were both same stat prio besides my ring

it's !symbols not dance mb
raiding is almost purely crit vers atm, you should also be using the freezing ice stone in annulet
the first dance and premeditation are two talents a lot of newer sub rogues overlook but they play a big part in why out dance rotation is like it is

I see, i'll change the stone as soon as I can, do you think the damage will be noticable with just that change? or just doing all the things listed I should be hitting higher parses if I do them correctly

With this opener, I always thought getting higher Macabre stacks were better which is why I pressed a lot of random abilities during dance

I believe I have done, it came back at like 100k dps but from my parses it's so much different so I knew I was doing something wrong

yea it's not, you gain a lot more damage from more shadowstrikes/evis casts
the opener will basically always look exactly like that because after rupture you gain 4CP from the first dance->3cp from gloom->evis->6+cp from ss(thanks to premeditation and shadowblades)->sectec
after that you can vanish again to guarantee 6+cp for the next evis or just ss until 5+ cp and evis

Kind of, I'll probably start off with a couple of your tips to start with and slowly implement them as time goes on, seems like i've been doing quite a lot wrong

tbh im kinda overcomplicating it cause you can follow some rules 100% strictly and get like 90%+ of the way there
- Use shadow blades, flagellation and symbols on CD(unless dance is coming up in ~10 seconds, in which cast you wait until 3 seconds into dance to cast symbols)
- Use tea in the opener dance and whenever you're starved for energy with ~5+ seconds left until symbols is off cd or ~10s until dance
- Always cast secret technique as your 2nd spender in dance, most dances after the opener will simply be dance->gloom->evis->ss->sectec->ss until 5 or more cp->evis
- Macro cold blood to secret technique and forget about it, you never want to delay secret technique unless it's literally 1-2 globals and you never cast cold blood with any other ability

and in case you're unsure you want to cast spenders on 5 or more cp inside dance, 6 or more outside dance
4 or more on 3+ targets

no worries, it might seem like a lot but if you just get the dances down everything kinda falls into place
