So guys, I really need your expertise. I'm logging terribly bad logs and I don't know exactly what the problem is. Not optimal gear (trinkets, no 4pc), wrong playstyle? Any help is welcome. PMs too!!

so 4p is not really important first of all you are fine playing 2+2

dont rupture into dance but the rest seems fine also tee as late as possible before the first evis
dont do this get atleast some stacks of dm up
same mistake seems to be a pattern
this is minor but if your lowish on energy and about to press tee anyways do it before an eviscerate to get the mastery buff
Your casting a bit less symbols on that fight
7 times possible you just did 5
also major stuff you could have dance 7 times only did it 9 times
Work on the sec tech stuff and setting up proper dance phases by watching more the boss timers and your damage should be fine
Also craft asap toxic patch
Also if possible post a screenshot of your ui

Questions that arised:
- So after activating dance, I should not directly cast sec tech but build more DM-stacks first? So it's fine as long as sec tech is within Dance/Symbols window?
- Symbols on CD (if mechanic etc.) no matter what?
- Use Dance more - copy that!
Toxic patch will be crafted next ID when crafting an Item. Could not craft it on Boots.
Droptimizer for items says to craft molten shortblade, but can't craft patch on this. Next best item would be Vibrant Wildercloth Shawl, which will be the way to go (since I can't craft shoulders because of old tier-slot).

- Yes with first dance talent u gloomblade then evis then strike to max combo and sec tech
- Symbols on cd but hold it when dance is coming up so 8 seconds roughly. Depending on energy levels.
With 2 pac you can get symbols and a pandemic effect that starts at 3 seconds from tier
Just craft wrists or belt. Bis is headpiece 447 and rest are tier pieces

Since English isn't my native language, I'm not entirely sure if I understand correctly:
Does 2pc and pandemic work both ways? For example, if Dance (and therefore Symbols) is running, I can activate Symbols with 3 sec left of Dance? And if Symbols has 3 seconds left, I can activate Dance?
Guess I will makro Gloomblade and Dance together then.

So let's say you press symbols before dance with 2p the 2p then overrides your casted symbol
If you go into dance with 2p wait until symbols buff is 3sec and then "cast" your symbols it adds
Maximum pandemic is 13 sec

Ah I see! Just cast Dance, wait till Symbols buff has 3 secs left and then cast regular Symbols - got it!
I surely hope that this in combimation with the sec tech change will boost my dps... my raidleader told me, that I'm too far behind our other Rogue (flow) and I need to push the dps big time or I'm out of our roster.

Is it because of 4pc, Trinkets, Windfury or what exactly does he make better?

I think it could also be because he has better optimized gear? I hardly got any items from the new raid and have practically everything from m+. That means I have a high gear score but suboptimal stats. This is at least my explanation

like legit talents gear do not matter that much as long as you execute your rotation as good as it can be
like this log from a boost of mine I had the wrong st talent I was specced into black powder. https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/6G4P2yfJqp1xdhZN#fight=19&type=summary&source=175 since i played the rotation near perfect was still a decent log
all about executing your rotation perfectly and keeping uptime as high as possible
and yes windfury is a must for rogues kinda troll if not
and your gear is preditermined you play with s1 rings with sockets and anulet
