If your fight is about 4:30-4:40 yeah
Our damage is all about timings at the moment - so you want to lineup where possible
If fight is 3:40; it’s even best to hold the dm for 3m exsang
It is very very rare that you’ll hold dm
So I wouldn’t practice that

so we want to overlap dm and exsang at least twice? (including the opener)?

There’s no concrete rule
“Lineup where you can; if you’ll miss a cast, don’t lineup”
Like on initial Terros, where kills were 6:40.
You’d free send your Pb + Exsang mid fight so you could have a mega line up at the end with pot
