If you ain't in a rush, I can review this in about 3hrs
No rush at all
I sim at 76k ST but only end up doing at best 60k So i'm doing something seriously wrong and i jsut want to find out what that bit is
ur dance casts are super low, ur dmg profile is super off,
for instance: dance differnce yours vs mine
and urs is a 20 sec faster kill, thats +- 1 dance?
but look at the consistancy difference with gaps etc
ur not using GB in dance at all, so ur losing 1 DM stack every dance
dmg profile difference
also ur first strike in dance, causes you to overcap on cp's
cus u have first dance talent
oih nvm
im stupid u dont run First dance
in that case
Gloomblade can be used as a builder during Shadow Dance. The typical use is as first global when playing with The First Dance, this prevents combo point overflow from Shadowstrike(Premediation) and generates stacks of Danse Macabre. If not playing with The First Dance you will only use Gloomblade when on 4 or 5 combo points before Secret Technique.```
u do that perfectly here
also, u have boon; never used it
Right taking a look now
Quick glance:
SnD seems ok, could push for better uptime.
Tea usage seems a little rushed?
@proven scaffold is right, you have boon and don't use it.
HoTP seems a lil sus here, surely you have better trinkets
are symbols and blades macroed together? separate macros
same for tea and dance, separate keys. check !tea for tea usage
first 4 casts are aight.
5th cast at 0:09, can be swopped to GB see !gb
vanish, strike optimisation should be immediately after sectech
this sequence of tea is a little questionable. did you overcap here?
late symbols (possibly symbols still on CD, nitpicking this)
GB optimisation for 5th cast
vanish strike late again
this is the correct interpretation of dance
this confirms my suspicion of macroing tea and dance. its a huge loss to do that. proper tea management ensures you dont have huge downtimes outside of dance.
considering the before and after of dance, you could have built an additional DM stack here by storming in dance
where do u go to find that
Find what
@proven scaffold @rugged crow Thank you both for looking into it! Appreciate it.
I forgot I had boon on, hence the no use of it.
For the GB casts during SD. The problem is this:
If I go SD>SS>GB ( This is the ST rotation on the sub FAQs) When I do this I have -1CP from max. not sure why this is happening but just tested on target dummy and its always true. My understanding is you need to use ST on max CP. Based on your suggestion the casts would look like SD>SS>GB>GB>ST. Is that correct? Or Do I send ST with with -1CPmax?
For tea usage. I always though the recommendation was SD and tea together. I'll remove the macro for that. I do see huge downtimes out of SD as you mentioned. I'll look into this.
I'll also try and vanish right after ST.
Symbols and blades are macroed together. I have a separate key for each for when the cds don't line up. I'll just use those going forward.
!tear
!tea
So tea first, it's at least a 2.5% loss to macro tea and dance together unless for AOE. And even then sparingly.
For the symbols and blade macro, I'd recommend dropping it and using both on separate binds. Easier to track and better overall
As for dance rotation, it's somewhat dynamic and you need the mental and muscle memory to evaluate on the fly.
Assuming you enter ST dance with 0 cp, you strike.
Scenario a)
Strike doesn't crit? 4cp, you GB. Then evis
Strike again
A.1 strike crits? Sectech.
A.2 strike doesn't crit? Strike again sectech
Scenario b)
Strike crits? 4cp you evis
Strike again.
Strike crits? Sectech
Strike doesn't crit? You didn't gb after first sectech, so gb now and then sectech
I see so it isn't as easy as follow this and you should be fine.
Now that it get it. i'll practice and should be able to do it
thanks alot!
It's easier with tfd. But there are drawbacks to it.
Just spend time to practice. Reach back out for reviews and you'll improve.
I can provide all the feedback in the world. But you gotta put in the effort.
10% under your dim. Nice!
