I'd like to better understand how he's able to crit so much during this window of 2nd platform adds.

Shy of me not having Whetstone available during this window, he's crushing me in output and I feel it may be due to the insane crit rating he's achieving.

Our ability counts seem to be more or less similar, however his are just burying mine in damage output.

his blade flurry hits are on average double yours, its prolly a positioning/ add grouping problem on your platform

#

combined with his insane 100% crit on ambushes

#

ur out of range of the top left add, your Bte isnt off cd when u go to the paltform so the adds are half hp when u first get it on your target

#

hes right in between the adds so his bf hits all targets at al ltimes

#

their add phase is about 5 seconds shorter with their adds dying at the pretty much the same time

#

try standing in the middle of the adds, can cloak the swirlies that drop on your head, have bte off cd when u go up.
get more lucky on ambush procs/crits ;D

Do you have any insight into why his crit across the board is so high? Even his other abilities are high 80's and beyond.

Agi procs and pots pushing up the rating somehow?

nope, jsut rng theres no crit potions or agi procs that increase crit, if u look at all the dmg over the boss fight he sits between 40-60 which is pretty normal

so jsut giga RNG on the platform there

@tulip vale Thank again for your time and insight. I'll try to clean up my transitions and positioning next week. Hopefully I'll see a boost in my output.

The final bit I guess I'd just like some feedback on is do you save your first pot and whetstone for the platform? Basically ignore the dps output on the boss in favor of having maximum cooldowns for the platform.

depends, if ur not dying on platform without saving the no if u are then yes

ahh - make sense. Im' finding the output from Whetstone greater than Boon's output.

perhaps that is due to my grouping issue as well

We are clearing platform one with our current config, but if we could clean up the timing we'd have an easier bounce back to the main platform.

#

We are hitting the whirlwind and sometimes are landing on folks with Conductive marks and basically bricking the pull.

#

So if we completed sooner, we'd avoid that.
