so uh, there's a lot. you're definitely going to want to review the stuff in the faq channel about openers and rotation. in addition make sure you're following builder/finisher priorities, because looking at your combo point generators here you can see that you're overcapping a ton
this is the opener for the build you're using on st:
this is what you did
the symboles/sblades don't matter much, but the snd instead of rupture is bad. and then you missed several globals inside of dance which is even worse
your secret tech wasn't casted inside of dance at all which is even worse worse
you used 4 of the possible 8 globals inside of dance, when we need to be using every single one

your second dance is pretty similar
okay i feel liek i cant fit more dont know but i think i improved to the opener from this kill till now
you're rupturing inside dance, missing a global inside dance, using the wrong builders, using sec tec too late
my thoughts on that was that i have to get more stacks for the secret tech but its not
actually i think you just squeezed that last global in for 8/8, but your st lost at least 1 hit due to placement

3rd dance is similar, except you definitely missed a global and had both your st shadows not get buffed
so with your build, you should be using this for your dance rotation
Shadow Dance - Shadowstrike - Eviscerate - Shadowstrike - (Gloomblade) - Secret Technique - Shadowstrike
the gloomblade is if you land on 4 or 5cp, otherwise you don't use gloomblade at all in your dance window
make sure you're refreshing rupture outside of dance, and you need to be using tea for energy instead of with st
every guide i read listened to told me like go for tea and secret tech
bc of the master i gain
tea is good, you always take it in the build
so just dont drink if i got enough energy left
but even on eranog the adds are a tiny part of the fight, so you should lean towards using it for energy
basically you drink one in your first dance of the fight because you're on 3 stacks, and after that you wait till you need 100+ energy.
make sure you're finishing at the right cp value: 6+ outside of dance, 5+ inside of dance, and when the adds spawn
AOE Finishing rules: You can finish on 4+ cp when on 3 or 4 targets due to the high amount of combo point generation.

it can be easy when you're worried about the fight stuff to accidently hit a build instead of a finisher, god knows i've done that plenty. but its something to work on because its a big loss to have this happen
it comes up in some of your dance windows too, like with this spot here, you should always evis after your first strike
because with premed, your first ss in dance generates 5 cp minimum

yea i'd prioritize fixing your dance window, thats the main driver of the spec. then its smoothing out the opener (which is mostly just "get out a rupture, do a dance window"), and then cleaning up a lot of the general play with energy/cp. since not wasting energy/cp will get you more cooldown reduction on dance, letting you get more dance windows
yeah my mind is a bit like oh why not rupture in sd you know but need to ignore that

rupture updates dynamically, so you get no bonus for using it in dance, while if you use an evis you're getting the 30% dance damage +dm stack damage
can you have a look at my opener yesterday on rasz? thats what i do right now just to know if its better on what im doing now vs eranog?

there 100% still rupture in sd but overall i hope i improved

so you can macro cb onto st, and make sure its cb first. there used to be a bug and putting cb after st was a benefit, but that was fixed first week of expansion
one thing you're doing as well is hitting dance during the gcd, and then being a touch slow on your first global inside dance. this is probably making it hard to fit all 8 into the window
compare it to this log
so skipping torch and pot, the things this guy is doing different is replacing the gloomblade in the opener with storm to force fw
dont know i get like adivce to cb for vanish/ ss but in your log its cbinto st
cb after st, like i said, was because of a bug that was fixed the first week of released letting both st and the vanish+ss benefit from cb
but theres still info floating around out there saying to do it because people are bad about updating their stuff sometimes, or they didn't know it got fixed

now hes got a lot better gear than you so more crits = more cp = more cdr, but notice how much slower your second dance came out

its even more than that actually, because remember hes got grief, so his first dance wasn't until 5s in, while yours was at 2s in
its something that you can be losing a lot of damage and its not always apparent where its gone.
also if you didn't know, with st the second hit comes out at ~1 second after you cast, and the third at ~1.3s
st updates dynamically so if they come out after dance ends they don't get any damage amp
thats why ppl st with less dm stacks than i
one thing i'm noticing is that you're also always gloomblading. i'm guessing this was because you were trying to max dm stacks, but just again only squeeze that in if you're on 4-5cp
depending on your crit luck, or wm procs, etc you might have a window that looks like this instead

i macro glomblade into sd for the extra stack but i guess thats a fault
if you go to casts and change the view to timelines you get this view

generally i'd say it looks better than the eranog fight, but still a lot of the same errors. missing globals in dance, wasted cp, the rupture/tea issues
y just did some dummy test and instand better results
more downtime than you should be having i think, dunno if you're going slow on purpose or just missing some time on attacks
