Not playing Tornado on Academy is questionable - especially as you're moving into the mid 20s, and especially on fortified weeks.
as a disclaimer its pretty hard to judge fights based on warcraft logs; so im just going to kinda go over some technical errors im seeing, and trust that at 23s you understand what you're doing and why/where
dance logic:
a couple of times you dance->strike->powder in aoe; it happened rarely enough im willing to call it a flub, by try and stay consistent on that.
You also have a couple of instances where you dance->powder->storm->powder->storm->sectec->etc:
if you start your dance with a finisher you want to go dance->powder->storm->sectec->strike (powder if the pulls big enough)-> etc
other than a VERY minute nitpick is that you have a bad habit of using dancing like .1s after a global is used, which cost you a global in dance at least once. generally this doesnt matter too much - you should be able to fit all your globals into the damage window regardless, but between lag, mechanics, decisions etc its nice to give yourself some wiggle room by dancing later into the gcd.
rupture:
I'd like to see more tricks->rupture spreading while the pull is gathering up than i do in this log, academy pulls usually take 4-5s to gather cause you just go huge on all of them.
Vanish:
We used vanish 12 times in 30 minutes, despite taking an extra charge.
In AA, there are no mechanics we can cheese with vanish (off memory) so we want to be using vanish as much as possible for the strike boost, even if its just to finish off stragglers near the end of the pull.
More recomended, we can instead of the double vanish, take cloaked in shadows to turn it into a defensive that can help you live through certain unavoidable damages.
Overall i don't see a lot wrong; dont die to quaking + germinate is a given; you're missing a few casts on your trinkets that can be attributed to travel time, tbh.
Thanks for the feedback, for context on the AA we had a timing where at each start of germinate cast we got quaking at the same time. A cursed timing that messed us up and I stupidly went back into the swirly a second to early.
I recently switch sub so there is a lot of things I do not know, spec wise the key level do not reflect it. I need to start training the tornado build
For the vanish part how is it supposed to be used in aoe? At the moment I only use it sparringly on priority target/boss and forget about it in packs. Noted for the dance/rupture spread !
Don't over think vanish
If there's mechanics you can cheese with it save it for that else just send it for a strike
Vanish usage isn't going to make or break your dps, the point I want to drive home is if you're taking 2 charges, and never using 2 charges. You're wasting the talent.
