Hey guys, taking a look at some logs from dathea prog last night. The other sub rogue in my group has secret techniques that slap way harder than mine somehow. It looks like he always works in a gloomblade even though he doesn't take TFD

I've just been using gloomblade during dance if I ever am at 4cp after an SS before I hit a sectech

should I prep some CP to open my dance with a gloomblade instead of a SS?

you opened with gb, which you shouldnt

you always work in a gb before sectec on st, which you didnt all the time

tho it somehow looks like your mate is waiting for symbols before he goes dance -> sectec

its basically not a must

#

but its optimization

#

it does deal more damage that way

#

you actually have way less crit hits than him on that specific pull

#

which does impact the damage difference

#

on top of you having less vers and mastery

#

he has 87,5% you have 75%

#

he had better tea usage

#

which in this case did have an impact on sectec difference as he used it with sectec

#

I would generally dont fixate on the damage difference of single skills since it has factors you cant change, but your overall gameplay

you overall used symbols 1 time less

#

tea one time less

#

wasted more energy with tea

#

minor stuff like that

#

you should make the best out of what you can possibly do and just focus on your gameplay loop

#

you can even get way different specific skill damage if procs like sophic devotion and elemental lariat align better for one person
