Kurog prog best pull - wondering if I'm doing anything wrong to be pulling only like 92k
@abstract ridge got any time for critique?
uhh let's see
rotationally the only thing that sticks out is your tendency to spend combo points at 5cp
think your rotation is sound enough there is unlikely to be some big error that is hurting you
so is it just a gear issue?
if you feel like you are underperforming, then it is hard to say especially in these mechanically intensive mythic kills
yeah I'm green logging which is why I feel like that tbh
there is a lot of skill in positioning/uptime which is next to impossible to detect from logs
I only have one mechanic where I'm soaking pools at start and I usually have full cleave uptime on ads etc.
curious to why it's only a 40 tho
tons of outlaw kills on kurog
ive never pulled that boss, so im not exactly sure how it plays out
i can say one of, if not the best outlaw player i know is parsing similarly with their comp https://www.warcraftlogs.com/character/us/stormreaver/loktark#boss=2605
and he omegagaps you in gear
ah 93-96
not too far off then
makes me feel a bit better lmfao
so who's getting the 99s is what I'm wondering rofl
I'm currently on this fight as well so I took a peak of the top logs. I chose a random top 5 log and compared it with yours. Out of the 16k dps difference between the two, 12k was from blade flurry dmg and , 1.7k from main gauge, 800 from melee attacks(he had 10% more in 10 sec shorter fight).
The blade flurry difference comes from the small adds in fire and earth phase, but also there is significant difference on the damage of the big fire, earth, frost add in each phase. From what I could see, it didn't look like their adds survive longer.
So it looks like you and maybe your tanks as well, can work a bit on positioning so you are always cleaving. Which I will use as a note to myself as well 😄
