You don't track it because it's not worth it.

#

The concept is that the extra attack resets the swing timer, so you wanna cast abilities that would trigger the extra swing as close to the beginning of your swing timer as possible.

@marble stratus there is always to option to just farm mobs, you dont have to have a quest to kill mobs. And farming mobs is a very valid way to level.
It is usually more gold per hour, but maybe a bit less exp per hour than questing. And it is rather braindead most of the time, so you can watch Netflix/Youtube on the other screen (or the phone if you dont have two screens) while doing it

The leveling build doesnt pick any wep specialization, you take the 5% parry and Riposte for leveling, then respec at 60 to sword, or for daggers if you get a decent pair

@humble roost you can level with a mix of all talent trees just fine, it just won't be optimal and can sometimes be hard to find good Daggers in a few level ranges. Riposte leveling is just really good. I've seen people that ONLY spam dungeons with a set group run a dagger spec and they outdamaged every other melee.

and hit % is still valuable after that due to the fact that it increases your white damage, but obviously not to a degree where you'd use it over an equal amount of crit

if you want specific numbers for how valuable it is, you should use the BloodMoon DPS spreadsheet, it will give you EAP values

At 60, a rogue can mostly tank that shit anyway. Had a random pug 60 rogue in a brd a few days ago. He ended up pulling aggro and tanking most bosses. Just had a few packs that I would hold on to extra stuff

the trick is saying "LF2M" to whatever dungeon, even if you have no one, people are more inclined to join when they think the group is almost done forming and will be ready soon. When you get whispers of potential people, tell them to wait 5 mins ish. When you have 2-3 other ppl interested, invite all of them at once

Like all I’ve ever said was I was going the SC 6pc and 2 DS set bc to get the 9% I only need 1-2% from pieces and I will perform the same and it’s actually a littler higher dps wise

Assuming you have +5 or more weapon skill though you should only need 8% hit for the yellow cap I think

The reason his guildies think SC is bad is because he wont get 8% hit from gear. However, since the required hit is so much lower with weapon skill than they think SC is much better.

5% is the minimum glancing penalty and it's only affected by weapon skill AFAIK, not Hit %?

@sharp grotto tell them to kick rocks, they clearly havent used 6pc SC. i'm standard pre-raid BiS and the other rogue who literally performs within 1% of me overall in raids is 6pc SC w/ other slots being pre-BiS

the only downfall is im pretty sure you get crit capped if you're daggers and fully buffed, which is where standard pre-BiS would be a bit stronger
