The latest PTR build flagged the client as a Release Candidate. Patch 7.3.5 adds the . A recent PTR build added some visual effects of the instability that results from the send off. The latest build also changed how the Artifact Power numbers increase or decrease once your Artifact is unstable. Now your Artifact will increase in (displayed) Artifact Power until February 2nd, then the total Artifact Power displayed will decrease until March 2nd. On March 19 it will begin to increase very very rapidly.

Battle for Azeroth Island Expeditions Preview Battle for Azeroth brings a new Island Expeditions feature. Taking what the team liked from Mists of Pandaria's scenarios and stepping it up, these expeditions take a team of three players to uncharted islands across the Great sea in search of Azerite. Each island is randomly generated and so there is always something unique and new to find. Also, the enemy AI does not behave like normal scripted creature AI. Instead, you face an opposing team that will fight in a much more unpredictable way. Island Expeditions are also role agnostic, meaning that they do not require a Tank, Healer and DPS in order to succeed.

A little background for interest: We try to be really careful about adding charges to baseline spells, since it's a higher-complexity mechanic than simply having a cooldown. Essentially every spell is slightly more efficient with charges, since you don't get the little bit of slippage when the cooldown comes up each time, and you can better sync it with other effects. So it's always an attractive ask, because adding charges to anything improves spec performance. Renewing Mist is a better case due to bad feeling of every second lost slightly reducing Vivify efficiency for 20s, and this also helps the weirdness of wanting to start ramping it up 20s before any pull.

BfA Beta Build 26871 - Artifact Transmog, Uther's Tomb, Mole Machine and More

Druid Transmog in Battle for Azeroth The latest beta build added the method Guardian and Feral druids will use to transmog into their Artifact forms. When transmogging your weapon, there is an option under the weapon type drop down menu called "Artifact Pair." When you select this, you see your basic artifact weapon and the different color variants. When you right click the specific color, a list of the different forms and color options is able to be selected to apply to your character. The form is still linked to your artifact weapon and so your weapon will appear as the claws or daggers (based on spec) regardless of what weapon you have equipped. (ex - your equipped polearm would still turn into the dual daggers). A similar system is in place for other classes.

But we're hearing that feedback and keeping a close eye on it. Availability in mythic+ particularly is a regular topic of conversation. I've talked about that before so I won't rehash everything here, but we're looking into it.

We believe this is why some players with average item levels over a certain Azerite threshold were seeing rewards lower than expected (e.g. players with 371+ average item level getting 355 Azerite caches). We have a hotfix currently in testing to correct this issue.
