assa is fine in keys, its harder to play but you can do comparable and in some keys even better dps. you lose out on the utility of gouge and the ability to save vanish, since its a dps cd for assa, but those things don't matter until you get to higher keys anyway.

How exactly do you play CT in m+? like are you just keeping CT up and envenom or do you rupture everyting?

Currently, the new rules are as follows:
- At 4+ Targets, apply CT if it is <2-3s remaining on any target. This is higher priority than non-Exsanguinate Ruptures
- Tab-Ruptures now should be applied if the target will survive 4+ seconds if you have fewer than 3 poisoned bleeds up, but if you have 3+ poisoned bleeds, only put Ruptures on targets that will survive 10+ seconds
- At 2-3 Targets, apply CT if it is <2-3s remaining on any target. This is lower priority than keeping Ruptures up following the rule above.
- At 6-7 Targets, you can replace Envenom with CT unless Vendetta or Toxic Blade are up, with all the same pooling and CP rules as Envenom

i'm still a bit conflicted about what to do. I'm low lvl (439). The gear I do have has azerite traits taht suit me being combat. If I convert them to sin I have poor traits (just one ss and no EB). So I guess i SHOULD play combat until i gear up more. BUT.. id like to play sin.

Env doesnt leave a doT, it makes your poison deal more damage, not to a specific mob, but any nature damage you do during its duration
